Our team at Curricula, the fun security awareness training company, is proud to announce our first annual security awareness conference: Curriculaville! As part of National Cyber Security Awareness Month, this one-day virtual event will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 28, and is free to attend.
“Our whole team is excited to showcase the world of Curriculaville,” said Nick Santora, CEO and founder of Curricula. “Remarkable security awareness programs aren’t about what you do, it’s about how you do it. As part of Curricula’s mission, we wanted to create a community event that allows for sharing of cyber security awareness stories and new ideas.”

This requires all of us to be proactive and diligent, doing our part to keep ourselves and our teams safe,” said Daniel Eliot, Director of Education & Strategic Initiatives at the National Cyber Security Alliance. “It’s great to see organizations like Curricula take this approach to educate everyone on cyber security safety, and I’m honored to be part of Curriculaville.”
Curriculaville is a free event open to the public and will be hosted online on Oct. 28 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST / 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. PST.
The agenda for Curriculaville is focused on helping CISOs, IT Directors, and Information Security managers to develop more effective security awareness training by hearing firsthand from an incredible lineup of security professionals. Curriculaville attendees will learn how to better communicate security awareness to their employees, bringing together the softer side of cyber security with fun security awareness conversations.
“Employees say ‘we’re secure, we don’t need training’ but so many people just don’t understand the level of risk they’re opening themselves—and the company—up to when they click something,” said Kendra Cooley, Senior Information Security Manager at Webflow, who will also present at Curriculaville. “Curricula’s content is enjoyable, even for IT to watch, as well as for other employees to learn.
